How does the “Invites” feature function?
The application allows users to easily create invitations that can be customized with background images from either the device library or the app’s gallery, providing the option to make them more personal.
“Invites” includes details from “Apple Maps” and “Weather” apps to provide guests with necessary event information like weather updates and directions.
Apple created the app with Apple Intelligence in mind. Users can utilize the “Image Playground” feature to craft unique images based on text descriptions when designing an invitation. Additionally, the Writing Tools can help in selecting the perfect wording for the invitation.
When invited, individuals have the choice to RSVP and provide their location for tracking purposes.
“Invites” continues to have compatibility with Apple Music, enabling the creation of a joint playlist for sharing songs, along with a shared album for viewing and adding photos, videos, and other files by participants.
Availability of resources or services
“Invites” can be downloaded from the App Store on iPhones that support iOS 18 or above. The app is under iCloud+, so only subscribers can create invitations, but anyone can respond to received invitations, regardless of having an Apple account or device.
