The Brazilian smartphone market is dominated by Samsung and Motorola, with Xiaomi and Apple competing for third place. Apple has seen a decline in active users since December 2024, allowing Xiaomi to take the lead.

StatCounter reported that in January 2025, Samsung was the top player in the Brazilian market with a market share of 37.96%, a minor decrease from December’s 38.68%.
Motorola is in second place with 23.59% (compared to 24.32% in December), while Xiaomi remains in third place for the third consecutive month with 19.18% (down from 19.88% last month). Apple has shown a slight improvement, moving from 8.44% in December to 10.05% in January, but still lags significantly behind Xiaomi by 9.13%.
The data indicates that an unidentified company holds 4.11% of the Brazilian market, placing it among the top 5 companies. Realme entered the Brazilian market in December 2020 and made its first appearance in the top 10 in October 2022 with a 0.23% share, ranking seventh. Currently, realme holds a 1.68% share, placing it in sixth position in the Brazilian market.
